SPRING FARM CARES HUMANE EDUCATION PROGRAM HONORED
Congratulations to Joanne Cronan-Hamoy, Director of our Humane Education Program. Joanne was nominated and then chosen the recipient of this year's Mid-York Child Care Council's Friends of The Child Award. Joanne runs an outstanding program where children from area schools, clubs, Boy and Girl Scouts, as well as other organizations, come to Spring Farm CARES or Joanne goes into their class rooms to teach about the humane treatment of animals. It is yet another way that Spring Farm CARES and our animal residents reach out and touch our community. This program now reaches over 5,000 children per year!! An outstanding accomplishment.
