Alfred is estimated to have been born in 2010 and came to the farm in August 2024. He had been brought in to a veterinary clinic from animal control after he was found on the side of a road in bad condition. After several weeks, and no owner being found, we were asked to take Alfred in to our sanctuary. Alfred has both Thyroid and advanced Kidney Disease. He is getting treatments for both conditions here as well as for arthritis and other conditions caused by aging. Alfred is a very sweet old boy and we are thrilled to have him here in the last of his years. His caretakers have gotten attached to him very quickly as he is such a wonderful soul.
