Mezi was found in 2016 and is estimated to have been born in 2015. She was found dumped with 6 kittens. Our staff often named litters of kittens by themes and so Mezi’s kittens were all given dinosaur names. And Mezi-zoic’s name came from that theme. Mezi was adopted out in 2016 after her person went into a nursing home and could not bring Mezi with her. These are very tough transitions for cats and Mezi had some trouble adapting here to start with. But thankfully she has adjusted to her new living arrangements and although she doesn’t prefer living with other cats, she has adjusted to her three roommates fairly well. She is a little shy but warms up to people after she feels she can trust them.
